Tree Services are naturally loud, dangerous, and aggressive operations, but they also require considerable focus, care, and a well-managed job-site. When you hire Muskogee Tree to work at your residential or commercial property there are a few important steps to take before we arrive that will ensure the most efficient, trouble-free, and convenient experience possible for everyone in the general area.

Spread The Word
First and foremost, it’s always a good idea to notify your neighbors, renters, or businesses in the area that Tree Services will be performed on your property and the date that the work will take place. If you have any neighbors that you would like us to contact on your behalf, just let us know. At the same time, if any of your neighbors have questions or concerns, let us handle them! Feel free to give our office number to whomever you need.

Tidy Up
Making sure that your lawn is freshly mowed and free of animal waste or any potentially dangerous objects is a tremendous help to our crew. It makes clean-up much easier and keeps them from having to dodge “land-mines” while they’re working.

Locate And Notify
Any buried utilities or sprinkler systems in the work area (including vehicle access routes) should be located and marked before our arrival. To have your home utilities located just dial 811 on your phone to speak with OKIE811. It’s best to notify us as soon as you become aware of these buried hazards as we may have to adjust our plans for operation depending on their type and location. Please reference our Terms And Conditions agreement (‘Concealed Hazards’ section) for more information.

Plan Ahead
In some cases, you might want to plan to be somewhere else while we’re working. For instance – if you or your spouse works the night-shift and needs to be sleeping during the day. Most of the equipment we use is very noisy and makes useful rest nearly impossible when close to the work area. Also, if the job requires a Utility Temporary Disconnect, you may be without power for the duration of work.

Don’t Invite Guests
While the work we do often draws a crowd, we recommend against intentionally inviting family or friends to your house during the course of work. We love to meet new people, but the sound of an operating Vermeer BC-1250 Wood Chipper makes it very difficult to carry on a pleasant conversation. The job-site will also be extremely dangerous to untrained bystanders, and we ask that you and your family/guests remain at a safe distance from the work area at all times unless you are specifically authorized to enter by the Crew Foreman.

Keeping these basic points in mind will help ensure that the work goes as smoothly as possible for everyone involved.
